We must pray for wisdom when we are confused. Did you pray and ask for it?
As we surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ’s flow of love, the waves of his sun’s rays awaken us from the deep sleep of restlessness or helplessness into which we have been invaded.
It’s helpful to understand that when confusion enters our minds or hearts, it most surely isn’t coming from God.
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:33
If we don’t take great care to guard our hearts, the darkness can grow.
“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.”
Proverbs 4:23
Satan’s lies can trap us just as effectively as breaking waves can and in situations like this, we must fight and have the Truth as our anchor.
Any flaw, whether known or unknown, can swiftly stop us in our tracks, forcing us to wait for it to pass before moving on.
SET AWAY YOUR CONFUSION AND FOCUS ON GOD WHO HAS ALREADY WON
When we submit to the Lord and fall to our knees before Him, pleading for His mercy and forgiveness, He will unquestionably meet us where we are, and all of our confusion will evaporate at once.
If we don’t, there’s a chance we’ll start believing more lies, we’ll become more paralyzed, and we’ll stop being able to hear the voice of the Lord. We immediately surrounded ourselves with the devil’s falsehoods.
To acknowledge to ourselves that we cannot accomplish this on our own and that we require the Lord’s assistance is the only thing that will help us. He is the only one who can rescue us from this world’s drowning worry vortex.
Will we submit to satan’s lies or God’s truth? Everything depends on us.
As we begin to draw nearer to God His pure waters will cleanse us and renew us. And as we openly confess our sins, the haze will lift. 🙂
His peace will comfort us as we seek Him amid our confusion. And keep in mind:
“God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
1 John 1:5
