I hope you find encouragement and inspiration to grow in your relationship with Christ on these pages. My mission is to draw your attention to Jesus, One who loves you the most.
Blogger. FRIEND. JESUS FOLLOWER.
When you die, do you know where you are going? Is your future sealed with the Lord?
Do you live your life with a purpose every day?Â
Do you even know what you’re here for?
Are you living your life with daily intention, or are you living from day to day, without any known mission?
Since high school, I had struggled with suicidal thoughts and depression for “no specific reason.” I was constantly asking myself: “What is wrong with me that I feel this way? “Everything seems to be going “well” in my life, so why do I feel such a void in my heart? “I’m thirsty for spiritual food.” “Where can I find it?”
Until I found Jesus, I didn’t have the answers to these questions: “How to fill the void inside the heart?”
And the real reason behind your confusion about feeling depressed and oppressed is that you are overflowed by unclean spirits such as the spirit of suicide, the spirit of depression, the spirit of rejection, and many others that are torturing you. You’ve somehow allowed these demons to enter your heart, and now they’re attacking you.
But, here’s the good news. Jesus loves you so much that He died for your sins and He desires for you to have a personal relationship with Him. It’s a free gift of salvation.
You can be set free from depression, suicidal thoughts, and desperation only by rebuking it by the name of Jesus Christ.
And it is only through faith that we can be redeemed and pass from death to life.
If you’re looking for inner peace and something to fill your empty heart in this world, you’ll never find it through witchcraft or occultism. Such things will only blind your heart to the enemy’s lies.
True peace can only be found in our living God and our souls are made to drink deep satisfaction from Jesus.Â
We are made to be in a connection with God. We are created by the Creator.
For years, this was the constant thought that tortured me. For some reason, I was haunted by sadness, suicidal thoughts, and the constant feeling that I was missing something during my greatest success.
I even asked my friends an uncomfortable question: “If your throat hurts, you take a pill. You go to the doctor if you’re sick. But what do you do if your soul hurts?”
And the answer was always the same: “I’m not sure.” I can honestly say that I was completely lost in my wandering and searching for myself and what this life was all about.
I felt completely lost in the darkness, even in the “light” at times. It’s as if you “have everything” in this world and are still unsatisfied.
It felt as if I was the only one looking for something to fill the void in my heart. Despite a string of successes in high school, I always felt empty, as if there was a deep infinite hole in me.
And even after all of this, my soul was still unfulfilled.
Isn’t success supposed to make me happy? It didn’t work for me, maybe just for a moment, and then it was all the same.
In my heart, there was always something wrong. Some kind of internal pain. Internal commotion.
And I’ve been looking for the truth in every place of worldly things, but I couldn’t find it.
I was attempting to do “spiritual things.” Telling fortunes, bioenergy, the law of attraction, occultism, and horoscopes are all lies. A lie disguised as the devil’s representation of light. It appears to be a fulfilling shreetter of life on the outside, but the inside is tainted with evil: “And no wonder, for even Satan, disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14
I gained nothing as a result of this. Just a brief happy “high” moment that quickly turned into even more emptiness, sadness, and depression. It made me feel even more down. It’s as if you’re always looking, always learning, and never finding an answer.
But something inside of me was telling me to keep looking for the Truth.
People nowadays are “spiritual”. Always learning spiritual things, but yet they never come to the knowledge of the Truth. You are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
And that is so sad. Because the devil puts all these distractions in front of you. He perverts all these things that God has made, and that’s why he comes up with all of these things, like chakras, tarot cards, third eye, and all these things. A devil distracts you with these things. and you are ever searching, and you are gaining learning of all these different practices, but you are never able to come to the acknowledgment of the Truth.
And Jesus Christ’s desire for you to know the Truth, to know Him, to accept Him. But you have to deny yourself and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour.
And it’s an urgent time that we live in.
If you fill yourself with pride, sex, alcohol, and sin, God says, you have no fellowship with Him. What you have to do is to humble your heart and come to Christ with a repentant heart.Â
When you have suicidal thoughts and you feel like no one cares for you, call upon the name of Jesus, because Jesus can hear you and He cares for you and loves you so much, like no one else!
If you humble your heart, if you come to Christ with a repentant heart, then you will find the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
What matters to God is your heart and your relationship with Him! Tell Him everything that’s on your soul and mind – every worry, every fear.
Surrender depression to Jesus and you will be healed.
Christ can heal that brokenness, and take your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. He makes our hearts whole.
We are wasting so much time, so much money, so much energy on investments that don’t truly fulfill us and leave us even more empty. How pathetic is that! If you live for Jesus, instead of for your selfish ambitions you will live an abundant life.
If Jesus Christ is the center of your life you will never be empty, if you are in the center of your life you are gonna always come up empty, but if you give your life to Jesus you will live life more abundantly. Put your faith in Jesus and you will save: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:5
You will be born again and your spiritual eyes will be opened.
I remember how suicidal thoughts became increasingly pressing on me. When I entered a season of being unemployed, my heart was filled with fear, anxiety, and angriness. I had a breakdown, crying and yelling. I looked at the photo of my mother holding me after I was born. “Why do I even live?” I wondered. “Why did you even create me, God? “What am I here for?”
I was surprisingly calmed down shortly after the breakdown. But the question of “Why did God create me at all”, remained.
When I couldn’t deal with the stress of being unemployed anymore, I poured my heart out to Jesus. I talked to Him about every burden that was weighing me down. I spoke to Him like He is my friend. And after that conversation, I felt completely renewed and refreshed. For the first time in my life, I felt such joy, happiness, and freedom.
And I’ve known since then that God gives us purposes. God is the only one who can reveal to us what He wants us to do in this life.
After being born again I’ve had one breakdown due to suicidal thoughts. But guess what? I was healed by God’s grace and God’s power. I never asked myself “why am I living?” anymore, after He revealed His purpose for me.
And time spent doing what God has called you to do will never go wasted.
I know what it’s like to be alone in the dark. However, I discovered an answer and a solution to this problem.
The answer is Jesus. Jesus redeems and saves. Therefore, come to Him, to the true light, you will never regret it!
When you believe in Jesus Christ He can give you supernatural experience through the Holy Spirit. You receive the Holy Spirit and God’s actual Spirit, comes inside of you and now He starts changing you from the inside out.
It’s amazing. Something powerful happens. You have joy and happiness that you have never known or experienced before.
Accepting Jesus is worth more than any words can express.
There is hope for your life.
Don’t give up until you find Jesus!
