JESUS FOLLOWER & Kingdom creator
When you die, do you know where you are going? Is your future sealed with the Lord?
Do you live your life with a purpose every day?
Do you even know what you’re here for?
Are you living your life with daily intention, or are you living from day to day, without any known mission?
Since high school, I had struggled with suicidal thoughts and depression for “no specific reason.” I was constantly asking myself: “What is wrong with me that I feel this way? “Everything seems to be going “well” in my life, so why do I feel such a void in my heart? “I’m thirsty for spiritual food. Where can I find it?”
Until I found Jesus, I didn’t have the answers to the question: “How to fill the void inside the heart?”
It’s actually because you don’t yet know your Savior yet – that you feel continually sad or oppressed for no apparent reason.
Many spirits, such as those of rejection, depression, suicide, and many others, might be hiding behind this. Maybe you’ve allowed these demons to enter your heart through occult practices, and now Satan is attacking you.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
But, here’s the good news. Jesus loves you so much that He died for your sins on the cross and He desires for you to have a personal relationship with Him. It’s a free gift of salvation.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
The mighty blood and name of Jesus can deliver you from depression, suicidal thoughts, or desperation.
If you’re looking for inner peace and something to fill your empty heart in this world, you’ll never find it through witchcraft or occultism. Such things will only blind your heart to the enemy’s lies.
True peace can only be found in our living God and our souls are made to drink deep satisfaction from Jesus.
We are made to be in a connection with God. We are created by the Creator.
For years, this was the constant thought that tortured me. For some reason, I was haunted by sadness, suicidal thoughts, and the constant feeling that I was missing something during my greatest success.
I even asked my friends an uncomfortable question: “If your throat hurts, you take a pill. You go to the doctor if you’re sick. But what do you do if your soul hurts?”
And the answer was always the same: “I’m not sure.”
I can honestly say that I was lost in my wandering and searching for myself and what this life was all about.
Even in my happiest moments, I constantly experienced a sense of imbalance or a lack in my heart. It seems as though you “have everything” in this world, but you still don’t feel content.
I thought I was the only one looking for a way to fill the emptiness inside of me. Despite a succession of achievements in high school, I never stopped feeling as though I had a huge, unfillable hole inside of me.
Success should bring us happiness, right? Maybe for a split second, but things soon went back to “normal” for me.
I looked for the truth everywhere in the corporeal world, but I couldn’t find it.
I was attempting to do “spiritual things.”
Falsehoods include fortune-telling, astrology, bioenergy, the law of attraction, and occultism. A lie dressed up as the light the devil represents.
Although it appears to be a fulfilling way of life from the surface, there is wickedness inside:
“And no wonder, for even Satan, disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14
I didn’t gain anything from it. It was only a momentary joyful “high” that swiftly gave way to even more emptiness, misery, and depression. It only made me feel worse.
It seems like you are constantly searching for information while also learning new things, but never finding an answer.
However, something within me compelled me to carry on my search for the Truth.
People nowadays are “spiritual.” Always learning spiritual things, but yet they never come to the knowledge of the Truth.
All of these “sweet things” are placed in your path by the devil. Satan creates things like chakras, tarot cards, the third eye, and many other things by distorting what God has made.
Jesus wants you to find the truth, get to know him, accept him as your personal Savior, and be born again. But if you want to embrace Him as your Lord and Savior, you must deny yourself.
God claims that you cannot have a relationship with Him if you overfill yourself with pride, sex, alcohol, and sin. Therefore, you must first humble yourself and approach Christ with a heart of repentance.
If you are having suicidal thoughts and feelings that no one cares about you, call on the name of Jesus because He loves and cares for you more than anybody else. 🙂
If you pursue God with all of your heart, you will find the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. John 8:32
What matters to God is your heart and your relationship with Him.
Christ can mend that brokenness and change your heart from stone to flesh. He heals our broken hearts. He makes our hearts whole.
We are wasting so much time, so much money, and much energy on investments that don’t truly fulfill us and leave us even more empty. How pathetic is that!
Jesus provides us with an abundant life despite our self-centered desires.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
If you put Jesus Christ at the center of your life, you’ll never feel empty again; however, if you put yourself at the center, you’ll always feel empty.
You’ll experience a new birth and have your spiritual eyes opened.
I recall how my suicidal ideas grew more and more intense. My heart was filled with worry, anxiety, and depression as I began a period of unemployment, wondering, “Why do I even live? God, why did you even make me? What am I doing here?
Surprisingly, following the breakdown, I became calm. However, the nagging query of “Why did God create me at all” persisted.
When the burden of being jobless became too much for me to bear, I poured out my heart to Jesus. I spoke to Him as if we were close friends. And after that conversation, I felt completely renewed and refreshed. Never in my life had I felt such joy, happiness, and freedom.
You are God’s instrument for spreading His Kingdom on earth. After He revealed His purpose for me, I stopped asking myself “Why am I living?”
I’ve experienced one breakdown brought on by suicidal thoughts since being His child. But through the grace and power of God, I was completely healed.
Jesus delivers and rescues. He is the Truth, the Life, and the Way.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
You will receive the Holy Spirit and God’s actual Spirit, comes inside of you and now He starts changing you from the inside out.
It’s amazing. Something powerful happens. You have joy and happiness that you have never known or experienced before.
There is hope for your life.
Keep searching until you find Jesus! 🙂
